Reborn Youth & Teen Ministry

Teenagers in our society are constantly bombarded with pressures to conform to the standards of the world.  Reborn was started to encourage the Christians of the next generation & to reach the lost of their generation with the Gospel.

Reborn Youth nights are from 7-9:30 pm each Friday night and provide a safe place to hang out for teens.  We spend time in a bible study each Friday to encourage teen Christians in their faith and to present the truths of the Gospel to those who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.  Time is also given for prayer requests and discussion as well.  Our desire is to establish a sense of community and spiritual maturity among the youth.

Throughout the year Reborn youth gather together for barbecues and various trips out.  In the past, we have attended Creation Fest in Devonshire - a Christian four day festival hosting Christian bands, Bible seminars, and one of the best portable plywood skateparks you can find in the UK.

All of our full time youth workers have been police checked and approved by our church leadership beforehand.

Children & Babies / Sunday School

Each Sunday morning children attend our Sunday School while the adults attend the main service.

The aim of our Sunday school is to point the little ones to Jesus through song, Bible stories, & Christ-centred crafts. Children who are under 13 years of age are encouraged to attend the Sunday School class.

We have a room designated for nursing mums where they can hear the teaching in the main service in a comfortable, private setting.

All of our full time Sunday School teachers and helpers have been police checked and approved by our church leadership.

Evangelism & Missions

We believe that the Great Commission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ “making disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” rests upon those who are disciples (followers) of Jesus today.  Therefore, we as a fellowship encourage personal evangelism in our day to day lives, as well as taking part in group evangelism at times.  As a fellowship we hold different evangelist events in order to share the Good News, as well as take part in evangelist events with other like-minded fellowships as the Lord leads.

Although we do not currently have any missionaries sent out from our fellowship, we are closely linked to missionary efforts in former Eastern Europe, as well as supporting Gospel for Asia’s ministry of raising up and sending out national missionaries in Asia & the Middle East.   We look forward to when we are able to send our own missionaries out into the harvest field.
